“Thug” Rose: ‘I Know I’m The Next Ronda Rousey’

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey took the world of mixed martial arts by storm with her dominant reign within the world’s most famous MMA promotion. That being said, following a two fight losing streak inside the octagon, Rousey has since moved on to the world of professional wrestling.

In the meantime, Rose Namajunas shocked the world from the UFC women
‘s strawweight division. The fighter dethroned dominant and undefeated champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk with a first round TKO back at UFC 217 for the division’s title. Namajunas has since gone on to defend her title with a unanimous decision victory over Jedrzejczyk in an immediate rematch at UFC 223.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, as seen within the video below, Rose Namajunas has since come forward to claim that she is the UFC’s next Ronda Rousey superstar.

“I’ve been knowing that. It’s just a matter of whether or not people like me.”
