UFC women’s strawweight Rose Namajunas first earned attention from fight fans concerning her cage side appearance back at UFC 211. The camera for the live pay-per-view broadcast swiveled to Namajunas from the arena crowd.
Rather than smile and wave at the camera, Rose Namajunas elected to stare coldly into the lens with a fierce intensity. Since having won the UFC women’s strawweight title, however, Namajunas has put on a more elated demeanor.
Well, “Thug” Rose Namajunas was in the Staples Center over the weekend for UFC 227. When the camera turned to her, the reigning champion offered a more excited response. However, the internet has since been pointing out Daniel Cormier’s hilarious shout out to the fighter from cage side, as D.C. was color-commentating for the event.
