Breaking: UFC Vet Melvin Guillard Now Arrested As Second Assault Case Emerges

A warrant was reportedly issued for the arrest of former UFC fighter Melvin Guillard earlier this year following an alleged physical altercation in a bar. The mixed martial artist has since been arrest.

The Ultimate Fighter 2 alumni Melvin Guillard has garnered a following of fight fans throughout his lengthy career within the sport of MMA. Guillard went on to fight the likes of Nate Diaz and Justin Gaethje, putting on stunning and highlight real worthy performances against some of the toughest and most talented fighters within the sport.

Melvin Guillard was, however, reportedly involved in a fight within the Bar Standard in Denver, Colorado on Sept. 3. The fighter allegedly knocked a fellow bar patron out cold before striking a female bar member. A warrant was issued for Guillard’s arrest.

TMZ Sports has since reported that Guillard has since been taken into custody over the matter. More so, Guillard is already facing domestic violence charges for having allegedly attacked his girlfriend.

Still in custody, Guillard is facing 2nd and 3rd-degree assault for the incident within the Denver bar and charges for 2nd-degree assault, strangulation for his domestic abuse case. His bail has been set to $5,000.
