McGregor Loses First Round In Battle To Dominate The Whiskey Market

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has been fronting his “Notorious” brand of Irish whiskey as of late. However, it would appear that the UFC megastar will now have to come up with another name for his whiskey brand.

McGregor Sports and Entertainment Ltd applied to have the “Notorious” whiskey brand trademarked back in 2016. However, whiskey brewer Seamus O’Hara quickly challenged Conor McGregor’s attempt to trademark the title.

As reported by metro.co.uk, the European Union Intellectual Property Office of Spain has since denied Conor McGregor’s request for the trademark and has ordered the UFC fighter’s LLC to pay £552 in costs to Seamus O’Hara.
