Conor McGregor was not only the first simultaneous two-division champion inside the octagon. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) megastar was also the first two-division title holder of the Cage Warriors promotion.
Cage Warriors lightweight champion Paddy Pimblett has been on the warpath to follow in McGregor’s footsteps. However, the talented mixed martial artist has since suffered the end of his title reign.
Pimblett faced off against Soren Bak on Saturday at CW 96. The fight ultimately went the distance, with Bak earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent for the title.
