When You’re Not A Real Black Belt But Claim To Be… Don’t Try This At Home

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has taken the world by storm. As a martial art, a sport and a self-defense program, BJJ has made its way from the gyms of Brazil to the far reaches of the world.

To become a black belt within the martial arts, however, is no easy task. Martial artists must dedicated many years of practice, study, work and total dedication to BJJ in order to achieve the status.

Consequently, it is largely ill-advised to lie to a black belt of BJJ about your belt status. In the video provided above, BJJ black belt Ruben Alvarez is seen exposing a walk-in martial artist claiming to be a black belt within the gym.
