The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to host another exciting night of fights on Nov. 10. However, it would appear that there has been yet another alteration to the upcoming fight card.
UFC Fight Night 139 is set to take place Nov. 10 from within the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Headlining the night’s event, former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will go toe-to-toe with Chan Sung Jung.
Bantamweights Ricardo Ramos and Ricky Simon were initially set to fight on the night’s card as well. However, the fight was cancelled following an injury suffered by Ramos.
Women’s strawweights Maia Stevenson and Maycee Barber were also initially set to throw down for the Denver crowd. However, Stevenson has since reportedly been removed from the match up after suffering an injury of her own.
Now denverpost.com has come forward to report that a light heavyweight fight between Alonzo Menifeld and Saparbek Safarov has also been removed from the card following an injury.
