Cage Side Commentator Splattered With Blood From UFC 229’s Ferguson vs. Pettis

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson put on a stunning performance over the weekend. Now a photo concerning the fight is taking the internet by storm.

Tony Ferguson faced off against former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis on Saturday, Oct. 6. The two world-class mixed martial artists went toe-to-toe in the co-main event of UFC 229 live on pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nev.

During the fight, the two competitors each gained gruesome cuts that began bleeding profusely. In the end, Ferguson earned a TKO victory via corner stoppage after Pettis broke his hand.

During the event, Jon Anik was commentating cage side. Taking a moment during the UFC broadcast after the bout, Anik revealed that a splotch of blood from Anthony Pettis landed on his shirt during the fight.
