Conor McGregor Is Only Two Days From UFC 229… And He’s Still Drinking Whiskey

UFC megastar Conor McGregor is days away from returning to the octagon. However, the Ireland native is also out promoting his new Irish whiskey. Now it would appear that the former two-division UFC champion is still drinking whiskey ahead of his big match up.

Conor McGregor is set to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight title on Saturday, Oct. 6. The event will take place within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Meanwhile, “Notorious” recently released his own brand of Irish whiskey called “Proper 12.” Appearing on Conan to promote his upcoming fight, Conor McGregor took a moment to promote his whiskey.

Toasting with Conan O’Brian, Conor McGregor poured a large glass of the whiskey and took a sip. Check it out within the video above.

Generally speaking, fighters are not advised to drink alcohol ahead of weigh-ins. However, it would appear that “Notorious” is not worried about hitting the scale.
