Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will be facing off against Conor McGregor this weekend. Now the Dagestan native has come forward with a few words on his upcoming opponent.
Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are now set to throw down in the main event of UFC 229. The event will take place Oct. 6 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. and will be featured live on pay-per-view.
Speaking to UFC correspondent Megan Olivi, Khabib Nurmagomedov recently revealed that he believes Conor McGregor’s financial success may have robbed the Ireland native of his motivation to win inside the octagon.
“He already has money, no motivation. His legacy is money. My legacy is smash. Smash him, this is my legacy.”
