Dana White Hints To Brock Lesnar’s Imminent Octagon Return | UFC News

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has not competed inside the octagon since back at UFC 200. That being said, it would appear that the former title holder may now be preparing for an imminent return to the UFC.

Brock Lesnar failed a drug test for UFC 200, leading to a year-long ban from USADA. Lesnar endured six months of the suspension before returning to the WWE and exiting the USADA testing pool.

Lesnar has since re-entered the USADA testing pool and is set to once again be eligible to compete on Jan. 8, 2019. Since then, the former champion has been called out by reigning two-division title holder Daniel Cormier.

Speaking to ESPN, UFC President Dana White has since come forward to say that he is planning on Brock Lesnar fighting inside the octagon soon and that Lesnar may be making his way to New York at the moment. Dana White will likely be in New York to watch over UFC 230, which is set to take place inside Madison Square Garden in New York in early Nov. With Daniel Cormier now set to fight Derrick Lewis at UFC 230 on Nov. 3, Lesnar may still have to wait a little longer if he plans on facing D.C. for his big return to the sport. However, the former champion may soon be talking to the UFC president none the less.
