Khabib Receives His First Fighter Call Out Since Submitting Conor McGregor

Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov faced off against Conor McGregor back at UFC 229 on Oct. 6. Nurmagomedov put on a dominant performance over his opponent, ultimately earning a fourth round submission victory over the Ireland native. Now another top UFC lightweight has come forward to challenge the still reigning champion.

Kevin Lee is currently set to fight Al Iaquinta in the main event of UFC on FOX 31. The event will take place Dec. 15 from within the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Speaking on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, however, Kevin Lee has since come forward to call out Khabib Nurmagomedov. After facing Iaquinta, Kevin Lee wants to fight “The Eagle” for the title.
