Undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov put on a dominant performance over mixed martial arts megastar Conor McGregor on Saturday. That being said, the Dagestan native has been getting more attention for his antics outside of the cage as of late.
Nurmagomedov earned a fourth round submission victory over McGregor in the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6. Just after the bout, Nurmagomedov jumped out of the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. The incident sparked a fracas between the fight camps of Nurmagomedov and McGregor.
Speaking on the live broadcast for UFC 229, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping took a quick verbal jab at the reigning champion over the incident.
