As reported by TMZ Sports, Stephan Bonnar was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 28, and is being charged with a felony DUI, and misdemeanor charges of resisting a public official and unsafe starting or movement of a stopped vehicle. After being held on a bail of $22,000, Bonnar was released from jail on Monday.

Due back in court on Nov. 26, this is the third DUI charge Stephan Bonnar has faced. Calls were made to local authorities on Sunday that a driver was maneuvering vehicles in a “reckless manner” on a freeway. The driver was reportedly reaching speeds over 90 mph while changing lanes.

In a released statement by the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), it was reported that the driver was Stephan Bonnar and that Bonnar “had been physically restrained” by nearby drivers “and appeared to be incoherent.” After allegedly resisting arrest, the fellow drivers and police worked together to restrain Stephan Bonner in order to apply handcuffs.

The NHP report concluded, “The Trooper reported smelling the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver and displaying signs of intoxication. Medical staff responded to the scene and determined nothing medically was abnormal with the driver.”
