Former UFC heavyweight champion Chris Weidman is currently set to take on Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza in the co-main event of UFC 230 on Saturday. That being said, the New York native already has his mind set on much more.

Speaking to UFC.com, Chris Weidman has come forward to say that he plans on earning back the middleweight title before moving up to the light heavyweight division and challenging for the 205 pound title.

“My goal right now is to win the middleweight championship back, defend that a few times and then head up to 205 and win some belts up there as well.”
