Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has not competed inside the octagon in two years. That being said, it would appear that the former title holder is now in negotiations with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for a possible octagon return.

Cain Velasquez has suffered a series of injuries throughout his career. After his fight against Travis Browne back at UFC 200, the former champion took some time to recover.
Speaking on the Gross Point Blank podcast, American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) head coach Javier Mendez revealed that Cain Velasquez has allegedly been fully recovered for a year now. More to the point, Velasquez is now allegedly negotiating a new deal with the UFC for a possible octagon return.
