Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was initially rumored to make a cage side appearance at UFC 230 tonight. However, it would appear that the former title holder will not be showing up after all.

Brock Lesnar was cage side back at UFC 226. UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier knocked out Stipe Miocic within the first round of the night’s main event for the heavyweight title.

D.C. quickly called out Brock Lesnar, leading to the WWE superstar rushing the octagon and shoving Cormier inside the cage.

As reported by journalist Brad Shepard, the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) has ordered Brock Lesnar to not appear at the event. The commission is reportedly attempting to prevent another incident following the recent UFC 229 post-fight brawl.

UFC 230 goes down tonight, Nov. 3, inside Madison Square Garden in New York. Daniel Cormier will be headlining the night’s event in a heavyweight title fight against rising challenger Derrick Lewis.
