Ratings Report: UFC 230 Prelims Hit New Year Low For FS1 Broadcast | UFC News

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting night of fights over the weekend. However, it would appear that the night’s preliminary card failed to attract viewers to the live broadcast.

UFC 230 went down live on pay-per-view on Saturday, Nov. 3, from within Madison Square Garden in New York. Two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier defended his heavyweight title in the night’s main event against rising title challenger Derrick Lewis.

The night’s preliminary card went down live on FOX Sports 1 and seemingly failed to meet ratings expectations. As reported by MMA Fighting, the preliminary card averaged 635,000 on FS1. The card reached the lowest ratings for an FS1 preliminary card in all of 2018.
