Gavin Tucker Gets The Tap! | UFC Results

The highly anticipated UFC 240 is just around the corner and MMAIMPORTS is more than ready to deliver you live UFC Results from both preliminary and main cards! Gavin Tucker (10-1-0) is coming from the two-year layoff and a brutal loss against Rick Glenn which resulted in four broken bones. It’s not going to be any easier for him this Saturday as he is facing a talented knockout artist, Sung-Woo Choi (7-2-0).  Young Korean will be looking to score his first win inside the UFC octagon after his unsuccessful debut against Movsar Evloev.

Rd 1 – Tucker opens the fight with a couple of kicks and Choi responds with the counters over the top. Tucker dives for a single leg and gets the takedown. Choi is showing good defense as he controls the posture well. However, Tucker goes around and gets the back! Choi defends once again but Tucker is all over him against the cage. Tucker is displaying his good clinch game early. Choi clearly has a problem separating. However, he trips tucker and finishes on top! Tucker quickly reverses and they are back against the cage.  Choi separates for a moment and lands a nice right. They are back in the center. Choi pushes forward but eats a stiff counter right! Tucker is showing his composure in this round.

Rd 2 – Choi comes out aggressive and starts landing hard kicks. Tucker stays calm and moving. He takes the single and gets the takedown. Choi is using a lot of energy in order to stand and separate. Tucker is fighting a smart fight. Choi separates the hands and lands a nice elbow on the break! Tucker fires a quick one-two and connects. Choi misses with the spinning back elbow and finds himself on the mat once again. Tucker lands an illegal knee. He takes the point from Tucker. Choi starts firing punches but Tucker does a good job countering. Neither fighter is willing to pull the trigger. Tucker scores with a couple of leg kicks as Choi stays patient. Choi charges forward but Tucker capitalizes with the clinch against the cage.

Rd 3 – Again, Choi comes out guns blazing but Tucker is showing great head movement and boxing defense. They are back in the clinch. Tucker is neutralizing the striking of Choi with the clinching game. Choi separates and lands a couple of nice shots. He is clearly winning the exchanges. However, Tucker is relentless with the wrestling. Tucker gets too comfortable in the clinch as Choi trips him and almost takes his back! Tucker finds his way up continues and scores another takedown. He takes the back and sinks in the rear-naked choke! Choi taps out!!!
