The city of New Jersey will be a world fighting epicenter once again as the UFC makes its return to the Prudential Center for the eight-time and first since UFC on Fox: Johnson vs. Bader back in 2016. The former professional kickboxer (39-1-0) and the younger sister of Valentina Shevchenko is motivated to quickly bounce off her recent loss against Roxanne Modafferi. Standing on her way is the former GCF Bantamweight champion Lucie Pudilova (8-4-0) who has been struggling to get a win since September 2018.

Rd 1 – Shevchenko immediately establishes the forward pressure, forcing Pudilova to the outside. Pudilova moves and initiates the clinch. Shevchenko unloads with a couple of hard knees! Her Muay Thai is brutal! She forces Pudilova against the fence. Pudilova stays calm, looking for separation. Shevchenko is busy with the knees, she is destroying Pudilova! The referee separates the fighters due to the groin strikes. They are back in the center and Pudilova dives for a single leg, defended by Shevchenko. Pudilova follows with the clinch but Shevchenko reverses against the fence and unloads with the knees! Pudilova drops her levels and grabs the single-leg; however, Shevchenko defends another takedown! Pudilova lands a big elbow on the separation! Shevchenko is hurt! Pudilova dives for a single and finally gets the takedown! Shevchenko is controlling the posture from the bottom. She shoots for the armbar!!! Pudilova is defending well! It’s tight!!! Rd 2 – Shevchenko continues with the pressure. Pudilova shoots for a single and follows with the clinch against the fence. She drops her levels once again and gets it! However, Shevchenko scrambles and takes her back! She sinks in the rear-naked choke!!! Pudilova doesn’t want to tap!!! She is out cold!!!
