USADA

UFC stars Nick and Nate Diaz are about to be very happy with the latest MMA News from USADA. Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, was once a banned substance for the UFC’s anti-doping enforcers. Now, it would appear that the substance has been lifted from USADA’s list of banned substances.

UFC megastars Nate and Nick Diaz have been avid advocates of marijuana use through their mixed martial arts careers. Back at the UFC 202 post-fight press conference, Nate Diaz openly vaped in front of the media. The fighter later revealed that he was smoking Cannabidiol.

“It’s CBD,” cannabis oil, Nate Diaz told reporters following his fight with Conor McGregor at UFC 202. “It helps with the healing process and inflammation and stuff like that,” he further explained. “So you wanna get these for before, after the fight, training. It’ll make your life a better place. CBD. CBD oil,” said Diaz.

Following the incident, Nate Diaz was offered a public warning from USADA for the usage of a banned substance. Now, Erik Magraken has gone to Twitter to report the latest MMA News:

“2018 WADA prohibited list removes CBD as prohibited substance.”

As provided by Wikipedia, Cannabidiol is defined as an active cannabinoids found in cannabis. However, CBD does not seemingly mimic the intoxicating effects caused by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The substance may, however, have a “downregulating impact on disordered thinking and anxiety.”

Klonopin is metabolized in the liver and excreted via the kidneys in the form of metabolites. Taking into account that the drug may be accumulated in the body, patients with liver and renal dysfunction should take it with caution (and in lower doses).
