The return of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is just around the corner, and he has made his presence felt in Buffalo, New York on the evening of UFC 210.
Jones will likely be in attendance when Daniel Cormier steps into the octagon in the main event to defend his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship against top contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. Even though both men have agreed to keep the fight standing, there’s no telling how long the clash will go. One thing is for certain, however, and that’s if Jones comes close to the octagon on Saturday night Cormier will try his best to keep him out.
Regardless of what Jones’ intentions are on fight night, he revealed to Flo Combat what his goals are once he eventually makes his way back into the cage. He stated:
“I’m not focused on elevating the sport or taking it anywhere. I’m here to win fights, get my belt back and get my endorsements back together. I’m focused on my own personal career and legacy. That’s what matters to me.”
