Rising UFC knockout artist Mike Perry is riding a vicious knockout win over Alex Reyes from last month’s UFC Fight Night 116. That being said, it would appear that the welterweight contender is already locked in for his next octagon performance.
The super confident Perry is gunning for UFC gold and plans to take out every contender in his path in violent fashion.
“I don’t know who makes these rankings and I’m still not sure how they work,” Perry said to Champions. “There are guys ranked ahead of me that I know I would destroy, but I will just look at it like it’s another paycheck for destroying them. That’s what they get for being in my way. Either you step out of my way, or shoot me the fade—show me my one.”
Taking to Twitter, Perry revealed the fight news. Here is what “Platinum” had to say:
“Biggest match up in welterweight history far as I’m concerned. #ToeToToe #BlowForBlow #ItOnlyTakesOneElbow”
Mike Perry is now set to face off against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC on FOX 26. The event goes down Dec. 16 in Winnipeg, Canada.
Ponzinibbio is riding a five fight win streak, with a recent knockout victory over Gunnar Nelson now under his belt. Prior to knocking out Alex Reyes, Mike “Platinum” Perry earned a knockout win over Jake Ellenberger. Now both of the welterweight competitors will face off for division dominance at UFC on FOX 26.
