Replay! Georges St-Pierre Chokes Out Michael Bisping in Huge Octagon Return

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made its way to New York for the mixed martial arts promotion’s second appearance at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. The promotion hosted UFC 217 inside the world famous arena with a fight card filled with exciting fights.

The night’s pay-per-view main event featured to octagon return of Georges St. Pierre, which has been away from the sport of mixed martial arts for nearly four years.

For his big return, the fighter moved up in weight to challenge UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping for his title. Bisping put some serious damage on his opponent, dealing out some especially brutal ground and pound from the bottom position during the fight. However, St-Pierre was able to sink in a rear-naked choke in the third round. The French Canadian phenom earned a submission victory over “The Count” for the UFC middleweight title.
