Cost To Repair The Bus That Conor McGregor Destroyed Is In, And It’s A Staggering Amount

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor took the world of mixed martial arts by storm with his 13 second knockout over Jose Aldo and his epic finish over Eddie Alvarez for the featherweight and lightweight titles. “Notorious” became the first and only fighter to ever simultaneously hold two division titles. With that in mind, the Irish native has been making headlines for an incident outside of the octagon as of late.

Newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov had a physical altercation with SBG Ireland’s Artem Lobov in a hotel ahead of UFC 223. After Nurmagomedov reportedly slapped McGregor’s friend and teammate in the altercation, “Notorious” decided to retaliate by bringing a large entourage with him backstage of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 5 to confront Nurmagomedov.

“The Eagle” was in a bus filled with fellow UFC competitors, leading to a massive fracas. McGregor and his entourage allegedly attacked the bus, leading to the injury of several fighters.

Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg would ultimately be pulled from their respective UFC 223 bouts over their injures. With Nurmagomedov unscathed, McGregor would later turn himself in to authorities.

“Notorious” is now facing misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief for the incident. During the fracas, McGregor allegedly threw a dolly into a window of the bus. The incident lead to the injury of Chiesa and Borg.

According to reports, the damage to the bus totals $8,000.00 Having been arraigned, Conor McGregor made his $50,000 bail and is now free to travel internationally.

The fighter is due back in court June 14.
