Comedian Joey Diaz is a longtime friend of veteran UFC color-commentator and fellow comedian Joe Rogan. With that in mind, Diaz recently drew some controversy for making seemingly lewd statements about UFC women’s strawweight Mackenzie Dern. Now the comedian has returned with new statements concerning the fighter.
Dern earned a swift submission victory over Amanda Cooper in her sophomore octagon performance back at UFC 224. However, the fight was forced to be at a catchweight.
Dern missed weight for the match up by a staggering total of 7.4 pounds, with Cooper going on to accept a catchweight for 30% of her opponent’s fight purse. Dern has since been receiving heated criticism from fighters and fans alike for her the third missed weight in her MMA career.
Taking to Twitter, Joey Diaz later went on to make more seemingly controversial comments concerning the fighter.
“McKenzie Dern is a Soldier……..Make weight or keep this ass looking like a Birthday cake…..she went with plan B!”
Once again taking to Twitter, Diaz stated:
“McKenzie Dern is shaking that ass right now with a doughnut in one hand and a check that’s light in the other……her muffler didnt even break a sweat tonight……”
Now Diaz has decided to voice his thoughts in a conversation with former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate. Check out Diaz’s full thoughts within the video above.
