Despite Entering UFC Women’s Flyweight Division, Antonina Shevchenko Vows To Never Fight Sister Valentina

Former UFC women’s bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko is currently targeting a title fight against reigning UFC women’s flyweight champion Nicco Montano. As “Bullet” is nearing a chance to fight for a UFC belt once more, the fighter’s older sister has just been signed to the UFC women’s flyweight division.

Antonina Shevchenko, older sister to Valentina Shevchenko, put on a dominant performance over Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on June 26. Following the Muay Thai phenom’s TKO finish, Antonina Shevchenko was signed to the UFC roster.

Despite both competing in the UFC women’s flyweight division, Antonina Shevchenko has no plans to meet her younger sister inside the octagon. Check out the fighter’s explanation for the decision within the video provided below:
