UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is currently undergoing a battery of tests after suffering what has been reported as concussion-like symptoms. Now the reigning title holder has come forward with an update on his health.
Holloway was initially set to defend his title in the co-main event of the highly exciting fight card for UFC 226 on July 7 for International Fight Week. The champion was set to go face to face with undefeated rising challenger Brian Ortega.
However, Holloway was pulled from the fight after suffering concussion-like symptoms. The exact nature of Holloway’s condition has yet to be revealed, as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has been funding for a series of medical tests to determine what is ailing Holloway.
Taking to Twitter, Max Holloway has now decided to let his fight fans know that he is still undertaking medical examinations and that he is beginning to feel better. Check it out below:
