McGregor Throws Headkick At Khabib During Insane Final Staredown Event

UFC megastar Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov are now just a day away from settling their score inside the octagon. With that in mind, the two mixed martial artists got a chance to stare down one final time tonight before their octagon war.

UFC 229 will take place Saturday, Oct. 6. The event will go down inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Headlining the card, live on pay-per-view, Conor McGregor will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In promotion for the event, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the UFC 229 ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday night. Check out the final staredown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor within the video provided above.

Things quickly became physical, as Conor McGregor attempted to muscle past UFC President Dana White to get to his opponent during the staredown. Unable to get to Nurmagomedov, “Notorious” threw a head kick as a sign of intimidation.
