Frankie Edgar Lines Up Opponent For Octagon Return

Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar is currently riding a unanimous decision victory over Cub Swanson. Now it would appear that the former title holder has an opponent for his next match up. As reported by sports.news.naver.com, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is currently working on lining up a fight between Frankie Edgar and Jung Chan-sung. The fight is being targeted for UFC 229. The highly anticipated fight card is set to go down Oct. 9 within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view. Frankie Edgar suffered the first finish loss of his career against Brian Ortega at UFC 222, before getting back inside the winning column with a stunning performance over Cub Swanson.
