Former UFC Heavyweight Knocking On Death’s Door, Following Tragic House Fire

Tragic news strikes the MMA world once again.

Former UFC heavyweight fighter and mixed martial arts veteran Josh “Heavy” Hendricks is currently in ICU after being found in a house fire last week. Hendricks manager Bill Murphy jumped on Facebook to ask for prayers for his friend. Bluegrassmma.com first reported the news.

“It would be much appreciated if you all could say a prayer for my good friend Josh Hendricks,” Murphy said. “Josh was in a house fire last week and is currently in the ICU unable to breath on his own. He’s got a tough road ahead but if anyone can pull through it’s this guy.”

Hendricks only appearance in the UFC was at UFC 91 where he lost by TKO to Gabriel Gonzaga in the first round.
