Amanda Nunes: ‘When I get married, they’ll take my last name’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is currently gearing up for her next title defense. This time, the champion will be throwing down at UFC 213. However, Nunes recently spent some time away from training with TMZ Sports.

Amanda Nunes is set to defend her title from rising challenger Valentina Shevchenko in a title fight rematch on July 8 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two first met inside the octagon at UFC 196, in which the champion earned a unanimous decision victory.

Now, Amanda Nunes is doing a little press. The UFC bantamweight champion recently appeared in an interview with TMZ Sports. In the interview, Amanda Nunes was asked about her girlfriend and fellow UFC competitor Nina Ansaroff.

When asked if the two were engaged, Nunes denied the claim. However, when asked who’s last name would be taken if they were married, Amanda Nunes explained that her name would be taken. For the full interview, view the video below.
