Shevchenko Breaks Her Silence On Getting Punched By Nunes During Last Week’s Presser

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference last week. The event consisted of many of the mixed martial arts promotion’s featured summer fighters answering questions.

However, each fighter also offered a staredown with their opponents before the end. Among them, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and No. 1 division contender Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko were at the event.

The two mixed martial artists shared a few heated words during the debate, but things picked up when the two squared off for their staredown. Amanda Nunes faced her opponent in a fighting stance. But once the two were in close proximity, the champion punched her opponent in the face.

Now, Valentina Shevchenko has provided a response to the incident over Twitter. “For this punch I will respond to you with 10 more ?????????? #ufc213 Live your last days @Amanda_Leoa,” she said.

The two fighters will throw down in their title fight rematch at UFC 213 on July 8.
