Featherweight Contender Calls Out New UFC Champion Max Holloway

Featherweight contender Cub Swanson wants a rematch with newly crowned UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway.

On Saturday, at UFC 212, Hollway defeated Jose Aldo in the main event to become the new champion. Holloway and Aldo fought in a back-and-forth battle for the first two round of their fight. Then in round three, Holloway dropped Aldo with a brutal punching combination. He then pummeled him on the ground until the referee was forced to step in and stop the fight.

Holloway is now on an 11-fight win streak in the UFC. His win streak has seen him defeat some of the best featherweights in the world, including Swanson.

In 2015, Holloway submitted Swanson in the third round of their fight. Since then, Swanson has been unbeaten.

Swanson is on a four-fight win streak, which includes victories over Hacran Diaz, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Doo Ho Choi, and Artem Lobov. He is currently ranked No. 4 in the official UFC featherweight rankings.
