Report: UFC To Strip Champion GDR, Give Cyborg Title Shot Against Anderson

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Germaine “The Iron Lady” de Randamie is ready to move back to her native bantamweight division. Now, two new competitors will be fighting for the featherweight title.

As reported by MMA Fighting, the mixed martial arts promotion is supposedly near officially booking former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino to face off against Megan Anderson for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 214.

UFC 214 goes down July 29 in Anaheim, Calif. “Cyborg” is currently under some fire for a recent confrontation with UFC strawweight Angela Magana. After striking the strawweight at the 2017 UFC fighter summit, police were called to the scene and Magana elected to press charges on Justino.
