Mayweather Says McGregor Is Disrespectful To Black People

Floyd “Money” Mayweather believes UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor is disrespectful to black people.

This week, Mayweather and McGregor are on a world press tour to promote their upcoming fight.

Each day, it appears McGregor says something that crosses the line and offends many people.

On Tuesday, during the first press conference in Los Angeles, McGregor said “dance for me, boy,” while Mayweather was shadowboxing on the stage.

On Thursday, McGregor claimed to be half black, and said he was black “from the belly button down.” He then gyrated on stage for all his black women fans.

After the press conference in New York, Mayweather discussed McGregor’s potentially racist comments.

“He totally disrespected my daughter. He disrespected the mother of my daughter. He disrespected black women, and he called black people monkeys,” Mayweather said.

“I’m proud to be a black man, I’m proud to be an American, and I love everybody.”

Mayweather went on to say that McGregor cannot continue making racial remarks.

“Conor McGregor, you cannot disrespect black women. You cannot disrespect black people period,” Mayweather said.

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
