Source: D.C. To Return To Heavyweight, Following Second Jones Loss

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier suffered the second defeat of his career over the weekend. Facing off against newly crowned UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones, the fighter suffered a knockout defeat in Saturday night’s UFC 214 main event.

Daniel Cormier’s title ending loss has led some fans to speculate the fighter’s retirement. However, recent rumors seem to suggest that Daniel Cormier may be making a move to the UFC heavyweight division.

As reported by Middle Easy, “Despite taking a tough loss at UFC 214, rumors are there is little to no chance of Daniel Cormier retiring from MMA. Sources say DC will take some time off then make a possible run back at heavyweight in early 2018.”
