For The First Time Ever, Dana White Makes A Prediction For A Fight — #MayMac Coverage

It’s rare for UFC President Dana White to make a prediction for a fight, but the UFC figurehead has made his prediction for the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

On Wednesday, McGregor and White talked to the media during a conference call. While talking to the media, White revealed what he expects to happen in the fight.

“Conor worked like a dog last night, he’s in great shape,” White said. “He’s hitting really hard right now and he’s in a very good place. I loved watching it last night and I feel good about this.

“I’m on his side on this thing, I want him to win, I expect him to win, I expect him to knock Floyd Mayweather out.”

Even though McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut against Mayweather, White thinks it’s ridiculous to think McGregor doesn’t have a chance.

“Listen, people think that Conor is going to be completely outclassed,” White said. “Some people are saying that he’ll never hit Floyd once. I’ll tell you this, I just watched him work out last night, he looks phenomenal, he’s in great shape. He hits hard and now we’re fighting in 8oz. gloves and this is going to be a fight. And anything can happen in a fight.”

Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
