Two of the top women strawweight fighters in the UFC are set to square off inside the Octagon in December.
Felice Herrig is expected to fight Cortney Casey on Dec. 2 at UFC 218.
Herrig is currently ranked No. 9 in the official UFC women’s strawweight rankings. She is on a three-fight win streak. In her last fight, she won a decision against Justine Kish. Her previous wins came against Alexa Grasso and Kailin Curran.
Casey is ranked No. 12 in the UFC women’s strawweight rankings. Back in May, Casey earned the biggest win of her MMA career when she won a decision against Jessica Aguilar.
Casey’s UFC career is also highlighted by a submission win over Randa Markos in August 2016.
UFC 218 will take place at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The UFC has yet to announce who will compete in the main event.
