Two New UFC Fights Added To Upcoming Fight Cards

The UFC has added two exciting matchups to its already stacked schedule.

On Nov. 11, UFC light heavyweight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is expected to return to the Octagon at a UFC Fight Night in Norfolk, Virginia.

According to Combate, Nogueira is scheduled to fight Jared Cannonier in a pivotal battle in the light heavyweight division.

When Nogueira fights in November, it will have been one year since he’s fought in the UFC. Last November, current Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader defeated Nogueira by TKO.

Prior to the loss, Nogueira defeated Patrick Cummins by TKO. Nogueira also has UFC wins over former champions Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz.

Cannonier is currently coming off a TKO win over Nick Roehrick last month.

The UFC has also announced a welterweight bout for their return to Japan.

On Sept. 23, Luke Jumeau will fight Shinsho Anzai at a UFC Fight Night in Saitama, Japan.

The UFC’s return to Japan will be headlined by a rematch between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Ovince Saint Preux.
