Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Hall of Famer and inaugural UFC heavyweight champion Mark “The Hammer” Coleman recently underwent two surgeries. Now, it would appear that the mixed martial arts legend is recovering nicely with the help of friends and family.
Mark Coleman has underwent two hip replacement surgeries. Now, the former fighter has a GoFundMe dedicated to helping the legend return to tip top shape.
The GoFundMe, which can be found here, states “On May 16th 2017, Mark went in for hip replacement on the other side. Surgery was a success and now he lives with two artificial hips. The doctor is very optimistic of Mark’s potential to rehab and be able to get back on the mat to teach or do seminars. Thanks to all his family, friends, and fans for continued support. I started this to help him pay bills, cover what insurance didn’t, and to “Rebuild the Legend”.
