It’s just any old day for former UFC champion Jon Jones, who just broke Instagram silence for the first time since his UFC 214 failed drug test, that saw him stripped for a record breaking third time of his UFC world-title.
It was just the latest in the sad story that has become the Jon Jones rise-and-fall.
Moments after defeating Daniel Cormier in the UFC 214 main event, Jon Jones got on the mic and called out Brock Lesnar.
In the following days, Brock would reply and it looked like we had another mega-fight on our hands.
Taking to his Instagram for the last time before learning of his failed dug test, and likely four-year suspension, Jones was once again trying to promote the Lesnar fight.
He posted,
That was the last time we heard from Jon Jones on instagram. Now, nearly two-months have passed and Jones is breaking his instagam silence to show support of his other athletically gifted brothers.
