Aggravated White Clarifies Title Status Of McGregor, Now There Can Be Two Undisputed Champs

If you have been under a rock the past 24-hours, you might have missed that Dana White is refusing to strip Conor McGregor of his UFC lightweight undisputed world title.

However, in the same breath, the UFC boss is having Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson fight for the UFC lightweight undisputed world title.

It makes absolutely zero sense to have a fight for the same exact title, that Conor McGregor already holds. But, in a new first, Dana White doesn’t really care, because it’s Conor McGregor.

The media has given the UFC president a hard time about his stance on the McGregor-Ferguson-Nurmagomedov love triangle, and you need look no further than the video we’ve placed above, at just how willing he is to ignore the GIGANTIC elephant in the room.

If you have yet to see what took place during yesterday’s press conference, we encourage you to watch the video above, before proceeding.

All caught up?

Well, now, in a new interview with TSN, this TSN reporter tries his best in plain english to get the UFC president to identify what’s really going on, and he actually pretty much nailed it.

According to Dana White, Conor McGregor has until the Khabib-Ferguson fight takes place to commit to a UFC return. Should he not, he will be stripped. And if he does, well then I guess we’ll have two undisputed lightweight world champions.

It’s really just that simple.
