Caught On Tape: Fedor Emelianenko Getting Stopped By The FBI At Bellator’s Hotel

Mixed martial arts legend Fedor Emelianenko put on a dominant performance over the weekend. With that in mind, “The Last Emperor” has been making headlines for being visited by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) ahead of the match. Now a video of the visit has made its way to the internet.

Emelianenko headlined Bellator 198 on Saturday, April 28, in a heavyweight war against former two-time UFC champion Frank Mir. Emelianenko put on a dominant performance over the former title holder, ultimately earning a first round knockout over the fighter.

Leading up to the match up, reports began rolling in that Emelianenko was being visited by the FBI from his hotel room. While the reasoning behind the visit has yet to be revealed, Emelianenko relationship to President Donald Trump has been speculated as a possible reason for the visit.

Trump co-promoted an Affliction event back in 2009, in which Emelianenko earned a knockout victory on the night’s card. Following the FBI raids of the New York offices and hotel apartment of Michael Cohen, Trump’s lawyer, speculation has begun to rise that Emelianenko’s relationship with the President may have played a role in the recent FBI visit.
