Here’s Conor McGregor’s Statement On The UFC 223 Bus Attack

Outside of two cryptic instagram posts, Conor McGregor has said nothing regarding last week’s incident, to the public.

And while the former UFC two-division champion still has yet to address the UFC 223 bus attack with his fans and the media, he has discussed it at length with UFC president Dana White.

The UFC boss now speaks of McGregor’s thought process going into the attack, and his remorse for injuring fighter’s after the attack.

“Conor and I talked through text yesterday. It was obviously the worst conversation we have ever had, shortly before he turned himself in,” White said on American sports show First Things First.

“I don’t believe he realised what had just happened. It’s not that I don’t think he understood what happened, it’s that he tried to justify it.

“He said listen I’m sorry about Michael [Chiesa], and I’m sorry about Rose [Namajunas] and whoever else, but this had to be done.”

No news on what the UFC’s plans for McGregor will be. By all accounts it appears that they are leaving any punishments up to the judge in New York.
