Newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has taken to social media to let the world know his plans for defending his title. As far as “The Eagle” in concerned, any opponent may step up to take on the challenge.
The Dagestani native earned a dominant unanimous decision victory for the title back at UFC 223, defeating Al Iaquinta for the belt. With a stacked division of talent, the newly crowned champion has more than a few heated rivals and tough contenders to choose from for his first title defense. In the end, Nurmagomedov is looking to fight whichever opponent approaches, as long as it is not until November.

“Lightweight division is the most competitive division in #UFC
At this moment, atmosphere is very heated: there is Conor and Tony, Porier, Lee and Alvarez, all of them are good. Fight with any of these guys would be very interesting and competitive.
“I never choose opponent, fought with any fighter who was offered me to fight, and I’m not going to change that.
I’m coming back November – December to defend my belt. Whoever @ufc decide to fight me with, I’ll sign.”
