Junior dos Santos Octagon Return Revealed

Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos has been pulled back into eligibility following a drug test failure. Now the fighter’s big octagon return has been locked down for an upcoming fight card.

USADA flagged Junior dos Santos for a failed drug test back in August of 2017. However, the anti-doping agency would later claim that the former title holder’s failed sample was caused by a legal tainted supplement.

Consequently, dos Santos’ suspension was shortened. Now once again eligible to compete, ESPN has reported that dos Santos is set to face off against Blagoy Ivanov.

The match up is reportedly locked in for the main event of UFC Fight Night 133. The event will take place July 14 inside the CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho.
