Gennady Golovkin Is Down For A UFC Fight, Attends Historic UFC 226 Card

WBA (Super), WBC, and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin has taken over the world of boxing through his illustrious career within the sport. That being said, it would appear that the pugilist phenom is not entirely against a possible run inside the octagon.

Gennady Golovkin is currently gearing up to face Canelo Alvarez for a highly anticipated rematch on Sept. 15 from within the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. That being said, Golovkin decided to pay a visit to the recent UFC 226 live pay-per-view event on Saturday.

UFC correspondent Megan Olivi managed to catch Golovkin backstage and asked the boxer point blank if he would be interested in entering the octagon. Golovkin responded, “Absolutely, why not?”
