After snapping the first two-fight losing streak of her career with a win in her latest bout this past April, Michelle Waterson has her sights set on a UFC return, and isn’t looking for any east outs.
Instead, in a recent interview with MMAJunkie.com, Waterson revealed that she hopes to fight former division champion Carla Esparza, or former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

“We are wanting to get a fight maybe September, October time frame. We don’t have anything scheduled yet. I would love to fight Karolina or Carla Esparza. Those two are the ones I have my eyes on the at the moment. I guess (Kowalkiewicz) is out of the question. (Esparza) is (a good fight).”
Karolina is of course booked already against Jessica Andrade.
