Conor McGregor Now Ranked #1 In Official UFC Lightweight Rankings

In a new adjustment to the official UFC rankings, former UFC two division champion Conor McGregor has returned to the #1 ranked position.

Prior to today’s adjustment, McGregor was ranked #2, Tony Ferguson was in the #1 slot, and Khabib Nurmagomedov is of course holding the championship throne.

Today’s adjustment to the official UFC rankings only further fuels rumors of a Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov fight being close to a reality.

The UFC’s official news program, UFC Tonight on Fox Sports 1, announced the new rankings shift during their live broadcast.

These changes have yet to be reflected on UFC.com.
